Worcester choose how you move
Worcester, along with Darlington and Peterborough, has been chosen by the government as a trailblazing pilot city which will set the trend for transport policy across the UK.
With a budget of £3.52 million over five years Worcester must now tackle traffic congestion and reduce the environmental impact of personal travel by developing a package of measures to promote walking, cycling, public transport and car sharing.
Local Authorities all over the country will be learning from Worcester’s experience and following in similar footsteps if successful.
This exciting and innovative project has been called Worcester Choose how you move. It’s here to give you more choice and more information about sustainable travel options in and around Worcester.

Wolverhampton - A vibrant city
Wolverhampton is one of Britain’s newest cities and is placed right at the heart of the country, bordering the beautiful countryside of Shropshire and Staffordshire.
The City is enjoying unprecedented levels of investment, creating jobs and opportunities and making Wolverhampton one of the Midland's brightest choices for living, working, studying or enjoying life. There are many new regeneration projects across the City including Summer Row - a £265 million expansion of the city centre's retail core which is set to become one of the Midlands most impressive developments, and Wolverhampton's Transport Interchange - a £195 million project to integrate bus, rail and Metro transport into a single hub. The new extension to Wolverhampton’s Art Gallery features the national Pop Art Collection, and outside of the City centre the 90 hectare i54 site will provide major national and international development opportunities and is expected to create around 7,000 jobs.
This vibrant modern city boasts a tantalising mix of shopping, art, theatre, architecture, nightlife, green spaces and sport. The city centre has an open, pedestrian-friendly environment which gives it a cosmopolitan feel, and with plenty to do and see for people of all ages, Wolverhampton is emerging as a great place to be in the 21st Century.
Wolverhampton’s Visitor Information Centre and www.wolverhamptoncity.co.uk website provides a wealth of up-to-date information for people visiting the City.
